Our Process

Pure water from the Andes Mountain range, after a careful process to ensure sterilization is used for the preparation of the growing media. Non Genetically Modified microalgae is inoculated in the aseptic culture medium of the photobioreactors.

As microorganism contamination is the principal risk in this industry we use for culture growth different types of enclosed photobioreactors that are kept as clean as possible. We use HEPA filtered air and reverse osmosis and ozone treated water as well as food grade nutrients.

The last stage of production is done in open pond photo bioreactors where Haematococcus pluvialis grows in a way that resembles their natural environment.

Harvested microalgae is subjected to a grinding system and vacuum dried at low temperature, preserving the original characteristics and obtaining a powder of very high bioavailability.

Oleoresin is supercritical CO2 extracted from the powder, obtaining a product free of residual solvent. Each process is done under Good Manufacturing Practice standard.
